Sunset from Big Bend Resort.

Here is the entrance sign for Big
Bend National Park

They say there is about 50 black bears
that are now in the Park

Such a pretty drive

Our first view of Santa Elana
Canyon

Dude and Lulu needed a
potty break

Homer Wilson Ranch.
This was the Superintendents house

We hiked to Burro Mesa

And there is Mule Ear Peaks

Castolon Peak

Here is Bet's taking a picture of
the Rio Bravo

And now Bet's is wading in the
River
They had a gas pump at
Castolon Ranger
station

This was Luna's Jacal on the edge
of Alamo Creek.  He raised a large
family here.  He lived here till
1947.  He lived to be 108

The roof of Luns's Jacal was made of
Ocotillo cactus and then was sealed with
wattle and daub.
There was quite a difference of
Temperature
