which hard deposits are left in
place to form protective caps over
the softer materials beneath

This hike was so worth it.  The pictures do not do it justice.  It is one of them things that you should really see in person.

This was Luna's Jacal on the edge
of Alamo Creek.  He raised a large
family here.  He lived here till
1947.  He lived to be 108

The roof of Luns's Jacal was made of
Ocotillo cactus and then was sealed with
wattle and daub.
There was quite a difference of
Temperature
