We weht back to Alpine, Alaskian RV Park

Met up again with the Fishers and went to Fort Davis

Here is Fort Davis.  This was located
between San Antonio and El Paso
Provided protection for emigrants, mail,
and freight wagons from Indian, and
desperado attacks.

Marfa Lights

We went to the Marfa Lights viewing platform that was installed by the city of Marfa.  They are also known as the Marfa Ghost Lights.

posted at the viewing platform

Did get to see a great sunset

Everyone there got excited and thought
this was a Marfa light.  Turned out to
be a car that was driving around close
to the base of the mountain

Today was a Dude and LuLu Day

Terlingua Cemetery, which was
opened in 1902 by the miners that
were mining Mercury.  The
Cemetery is still used by the
local residents

We then stopped at Lajitas and
had a fantastic Lunch

Went back to Terlingua and was
able to catch this fantastic sunset.

Beth and Gary Fisher came down and met with us.

This Jacal was built by Giberto Luna and
lived there till 1947, when he died.
According to the info, we raised a large
family here.  Was built using rock,earth
and plant fibers.
