This is a view of Lake Cle Elum
We visited the Roslyn Historical Cemeteries.
There are many areas in the cemetery that are divided by ethnic, organizations and religions

This is a view from the upper section looking down

This section has many children that died due to epidemics. Also miners that were killed in major mining caveins.

This is Lake Easton.

This was our coolest adventure yet!! A whale watching boat trip out to search for Orcas. We came across K pod (the name given to the family of orcas) and followed them for about an hour until they crossed over into Canadian waters.

When the tide is out in Birch Bay we can walk way out look at stuff! Across the bay is Mt. Baker which still has quite a bit of snow on top. These are some lazy seals on the dock who barely mustered the energy to look at us!!

We found this small

preserve almost by

accident. It was created in memory of 3 men who were killed in a petroleum plant blast a short distance away. It was a nice walk thru the woods and then down to the beach. It was quiet, green and very peaceful.

This view is across Birch Bay at sunset....very beautiful!!

Slug Alert!! Dude did not like the flavor of these ugly bugs!

We see some really weird critters in the campgrounds.....mutant black squirrel? The dragonfly hung around on our awning for rest.
Here we are at Birch Bay State Park
